This Branson 452R is a US gov surplus unit that had repairable impact damage to the condensing tank and a failed 134A compressor.  Both boiling tank and condensing tank had minor leaks that were repaired and both tanks were then leak tested for a period of ten days and showed no further leaks.    The design of this 452R includes two vapor condensing coils and compressors - a 134A cool system and a 404A cold system.   The larger, expensive 404A system coils and compressor were turned on and worked fine.  The 134A system had fluid intrusion from a broken stainless steel tube and the compressor is seized.  The SS tube was replaced.  The compressor and freon reservoir/filter need replacing.  The estimate for this total repair was only $600 because the 134A compressor is a standard size compressor and readily available thru any HVAC dealer. All tubing and tank repairs were completed by a professional welder with over 20 years experience using the highest quality 56% silver brazing rod.  The ultrasonic horns all appear to be in good condition.  The two very special 220v circulator pumps were both cleaned and tested OK.  Final repairs to this 452R could be completed at a very moderate cost.  Compared to the over $35,000 cost for a new unit, this could be a very affordable option.  Or this unit could be used in combination with an existing out of service unit with a good 134A system to create one fully operational 452R.  One exterior front cover panel is missing - see photo.  Power requirement is 3 phase 220 volts.  Unit is sold "As Is" with no warranty other than the 15% restock return option listed in this auction.  Description and photos are as accurate as possible.  Thank you for bidding.
