Insert the brush end first into the faucet opening until the plastic plug firmly seals the opening. Leave in place overnight. When removing, twist the plug to gently scrub the inside of the faucet. To clean: Rinse with running water to release the beer faucet residue from the brush. Occasionally soak the plug in a dilute sanitizing solution and then rinse before using. Note to Perlick faucet owners. I use these on my Perlick Faucets as well, but you have to modify them slight because the hole is smaller. What I do is take a box knife and just trip off the four little tap below the first circle of the plug. This allows the first circle to sit flush with the Perlick (You can still use it with standard faucets after making this modification because the standard faucets will just go to the second circle to seal the faucet).
