Once the frame is in position, the built-in tracer automatically closes, causing no risk of frame distortion. Briot USA's patented stylus then produces three-dimensional traces of the frame's height, length, and curve. The Silver Plus system aids in flexibility by tracing demo lenses or frame patterns. It stores up to 300 jobs to replace lenses in the future. Briot USA's hyper-polishing feature polishes the bevel to enhance edging jobs. It also has an adjustable safety bevel with choices including thin, medium, and thick. As heat becomes a factor in the edging process, Briot USA's integrated temperature probe balances wheel dilation to ensure lens sizing consistency from cycle to cycle. The Silver Plus has a full-size display that allows for easy block positioning, and at-a-glance monitoring frame shape and lens size. It can cut any lens material, including glass, plastic, polycarbonate, TrivexВ®, and slippery hydrophobic lenses. The Briot Silver Plus Edging System combines accurate tracing, easy to use interface, and high-end edging options into a compact package for complete lens edging in-house. Briot USA can deliver and set up in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Briot USA's Silver Plus Edging System condenses the high-end capabilities of edgers into an affordable and compact space. It combines tracing, blocking, and edging into one unit, providing the versatility of top-tier frame tracers, lens blockers, and edgers all in a small in-house lab space. The operator input is kept as simple as possible, utilizing the color screen on the console. The color-coded background for each mode of operation is blue for frame tracing, green for blocking mode, and yellow for edging.
