Like new Brookfield LFRA CTS-4500 Texture Analyzer. This was originally purchased by UC Davis Food Science in Davis, Ca. It looks like it has never been used and is still in the original packaging however I cannot verify this so I am listing it as used. It comes with everything that is pictured, the power cord, computer cable, adjustable base plate, the manual, installation cd with Texturepro Lite software, and Calibration Certificate. This model has a load cell range of 0-4500 grams which is the largest capacity of the available models. Feel free to contact me with any questions. The LFRA Texture Analyzer is the industry standard instrument for gelatin Bloom assessment (AOAC Standard Reference). Improved test capabilities are now incorporated in the New LFRA in conjunction with an expanded range of test probes and accessories. Enhanced methods include Texture Profile Analysis for the food industry and Target Load Analysis for the adhesives market. The LFRA may be operated stand alone as shown or with TexturePro Lite software for enhanced capabilities. TexturePro Lite Software- Collect data in a familiar Microsoft Excel™ environment and easily analyze and store graphical data. Texture parameters such as hardness, cohesiveness, springiness, adhesiveness and chewiness or gumminess are conveniently built into a test results table. Calculation of these parameters are automatically accomplished by use of a check box.
