Feature rich, yet intuitive and simple, System Manager gives the user complete control over every aspect of the sample management process The user interface was designed with both the operator and library manager in mind. “Wizard” dialogs guide the user through basic operations, while a thoughtfully designed interface greatly simplifies more complex system level operations. • Data Tracking. Sample IDs are continuously checked and verified at multiple steps in the sample management process. • LIMS Integration. The Universal Store software was designed to facilitate integration into existing corporate LIMS and databases. Data can be exchanged between the Universal Store’s SQL database and enterprise LIMS via XML files or by direct access to the underlying schema or through the development of a custom interface. Standard Nexus Biosystems Trays 1. Tray type 1 holds six standard footprint arrays. This tray can hold up to 576 tube samples in six 8x12 arrays, 2304 tubes in 16x24 arrays, or 6 SBS standard size plates. 2. Tray type 2 has two positions. It can hold a pair of Nexus Biosystems 120-vial racks for a total of 240 samples. 3. Tray type 3 has a Nexus Biosystems integrated high-density array capable of storing 952 microtubes. Currently this tray may not be used as an output tray for pick orders
