This auction consists of a used Brother AX-250 Electronic Typewriter. It is from my deceased mother-in-law’s estate. The typewriter comes with a keyboard cover, second cassette ribbon, and a second cassette daisy wheel. The two daisy wheels are Brougham 10 and Script 1012. Since I knew nothing about the typewriter, I tested it with both ribbons and both wheels. One of the pictures shows the printed test results but it may not be readable on the computer screen. Both ribbons appear to produce readable text and both wheels work. There is correction tape in place but it does not work and it will need to be replaced. Supplies for the AX-250 are still available online and perhaps at some office supply stores. The typewriter has a handy holder for winding and storing the cord on the back and a handle for carrying the typewriter which folds under when not needed. It has the features that one expects in an electronic typewriter. The User’s Guide is included and it explains the features of the typewriter.
