Brown & Sharpe Dial Test Indicator .0001" Bestest 7023-3 ***NO RESERVE*** Up for sale is a Brown & Sharpe Dial Test Indicator .0001" Bestest 7023-3.  The indicator has recently been calibrated (September 2016) for proper function.  The first picture shows the scratch and scuffs on the glass quite well.  Sold as is with the blue case. The following manufacturer description is correct for this item to the best of my knowledge. Description: Dial Test Indicator, indicator Style Horizontal, Range 0 to 0.008 in., Graduations 0.0001 in., Dial Reading 040, Dial Size 11/2 In., Dial Color White, Series BesTest, Range per Revolution 0.0080 In., Bearing Type Jeweled, Reading Balanced, Contact Point Dia. 0.080 In., Contact Point Length 1/2 In., Contact Point Style Carbide, Features Bidirectional w/Automatic Reversal, Continuous Clockwise Pointer Rotation, Jeweled Movement w/7 Rubies, Standards DIN 2270 NF E 11053 -Bestest-3 dial test indicator w rotatable white or yellow face and carbide tip, for measuring surface variations in narrow or recessed areas -Continuous clockwise pointer rotation displays units in fractional inches, and ball-bearing lever system swivels through to 180 degrees -Dial face mounted at the top of the indicator parallel to the axis, and three universal dovetail mounts on the top, front, and back -Monoblock body design with jeweled bearings in an isolated assembly for high accuracy, antimagnetic for use around magnetic chucks, and corrosion-resistant chrome plating -Meets Deutsches Institut for Normung (DIN) 2270, and Norme Francaise (French Institute for Standardization) NF E 11-053 standards I try to describe the item to the best of my ability.  Returns are not accepted unless I failed in the description.  Please ask any questions before placing bid.  Thank you!
