Brown & Sharpe No. 600 Vernier Depth Gauge w/ Original Case Vintage ~No Reserve~ The vintage Brown & Sharpe Number 600 Vernier depth gauge with the original box that you are bidding on is in good condition; the depth gauge has some oxidation to the end and should be carefully taken apart and cleaned before use, and the box has some fading to the exterior as well as some oxidation to the hinges and locks but, there are no major scratches, no chips or cracks, no dings or dents, and no signs of repair. The depth gauge has a sliding ruler with metric intervals on one side and imperial intervals on the other; I do not know what the two flat rectangular pieces are for. The case measures 13 7/8 inches by 3 3/4 inches by 1 1/8 inches. The gauge is marked B. & S. MFG. Co. Prov. R.I. U.S.A. at one end and BS Trade Mark at the other; the box is marked Brown & Sharpe Mfg. Co., Providence, R.I., U.S.A. (pictured).
