This unit ships fully tested and guaranteed to work for 30-days, parts and labor, excluding freight. It comes with new batteries. There is some discoloration on the plastic. The Unit's Serial Number Tag Reads: Serial Number: 9542004 Description: Noise Generator WB1314 is a battery powered variable bandwidth noise generator intended for building acoustic measurements, using systems based on Sound Level Meter 2231, portable Analyzer type 2143/44 or Analyzer type 2123/33. However, it can also be used as a general purpose noise generator and/or as a switchable filter unit. Features: Selection between Pink noise, White noise, and external input. A Band Pass filter with variable lower and upper cut-off frequencies. Filter cut-off frequencies can be varied in steps of 1 octave steps. Knob setting (for "Lower 1/3 Octave Center Frequency" and "Upper 1/3 Octave Center Frequency") indication corresponds to the lower/upper 1/3 octave center frequency in the pass band, which the user wants to use for the measurement. The filter section can also work as a simple variable Low Pass filter or can be completely bypassed. Output attenuator 0 to 45 dB in 5 dB step. Remote control input for setting output signal off. Input is compatible with "Remote Control Sound Source" output from the 2143/44 Analyzers. Battery powered, with a capacity of 10 hours continuous use.
