BRUEL & KJAER MICROPHONE AND PREAMP.  TYPE 4938 1/4-INCH PRESSURE-FIELD MICROPHONE, EXTERNALLY POLARIZED Pressure-field -inch Microphone Type 4938 is designed for high-level and high-frequency measurements. The microphone is geared to withstand rough handling and high temperatures of up to 300°C (572°F). USE SCENARIOS High temperature measurements High level measurements High frequency measurements Flush mounting DESIGN AND ROBUSTNESS The shape of the microphone front ensures excellent microphone performance when flush-mounted and the laser-welded diaphragm on the microphone housing ensures that the sensitivity is resistant to rough handling during flush mounting. The robustness of the microphone makes it capable of withstanding the IEC 68-2-32 1 meter drop.  1/4INCH MICROPHONE PREAMPLIFIER TYPE 2670 The preamplifier Type 2670 is very compact and operates over a wide range of temperature, humidity and other environmental conditions. USE SCENARIOS Sound measurements with 1/4- and 1/8-inch Brel & Kjr and other compatible microphones Sound intensity probes FEATURES: Full electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) LEMO connector for instrument input socket Wide dynamic range Very low inherent noise, high input impedance Low output impedance and high output current allow use with long extension cables Wide working temperature range Excellent phase linearity The high distortion limit together with an extremely low inherent noise level gives a wide dynamic range. You can connect " microphones directly and 1/8-inch types using an adaptor. The preamplifier, cable and its connectors all fulfil EMC requirements. You can verify the condition of the microphone, preamplifier and cable on-site using its patented charge injection calibration (CIC) technique. The low output impedance and high output current capability mean that you can use long cables between the preamplifier and your measuring instrument without loss of signal quality.  CONDITION: TESTED AND IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION WARRANY: 60 DAYS SHIPPING: FREE
