 Buchi Model R-124 RotoVapor Heavy Duty Stand and Motor for Distillations Quiet, Smooth, Variable Motor 1 to 240 rpm,  For use in distillations and separations of many types of materials; or for concentration of materials, but distilling off lower boiling materials from withing the boiling flask.   Surprisingly smooth, quiet motor continuously variable from about 1 to 240 rpms displayed on large digital LED, switchable to also displaying temperature from a water bath.  This auction includes only the heavy duty Base and the R-124 motor.  It still needs the glassware and a water bath. The entire distillation apparatus is easily raised and lowered by squeezing a heavy duty handle and an internal spring.   The base is a solid, wide 16" x 15" and 24" high and about 30#.   The motor will mate with a Buchi condenser with the large ( about 2-1/4" ) spring loaded screw in head for vertical distillations.  Note:   All Buchi condensers do not fit all Buchi motors.  For example, the condensers that fit a Buchi RE-110 or RE-120 will probably not fit the Buchi R-124.
