It lyses, mixes, washes, and fixes samples with minimal labor. Automating incubation and washing, the LWA batch processes up to 40 patient samples per run to reduce hands-on time and operatorinduced variability in laboratory data. The new LWA provides five preprogrammed protocols and allows users to create as many as ten custom protocols to meet laboratory needs. For consistent sample preparation, protocols can be quickly and easily transferred between instruments using a USB device. The LWA delivers options to customize a range of lyse and fixative dispense volumes. Users can select mixing frequency and length, incubation times, wash precipitation, and G force settings. With the larger tank option, labs can further increase productivity by running four full loader racks (160 samples) without having to change fluids.
