DESCRIPTION:  Here measuring 12" x 6" is this painted fiberboard, license plate like sign with .......... CITY OF BUFFALO N.Y. - D.P.W. -  Office of Civilian Protection - Ass't Area Leader.........with paper label from the maker on the back with ....... Ad-Art Poster Process - 37 Franklin St. , N.Y. ........  Sign was wired to a chain link fence around a construction site I presume.  I don't know if this would date from the 1930's , 1940's or 1950's.    *** Neat Construction Industry Display Item  *** RESEARCH FOUND:  Bonitz Strom, founded . the Ad-Art Poster Process Co. of Buffalo in 1934.. They owned and operated the business until her death in 1967. ANOTHER SIMILAR SIGN.... is on our 'list' and ends a minute or so from this. CONDITION:  Really good condition as seen in the pix.  Flat and pretty clean, but has a bit of light soiling.  ... may have never been used.    GUARANTEE: All of our merchandise is guaranteed to be genuine, old and vintage as described!
