BUILD YOUR OWN PLANS--1-1/4" OFFSET TAILSTOCK CENTER fits ATLAS, SOUTH BEND, LOGAN LATHES, UNIMAT, & All lathes up to 9" SWING 1/1/4" Diameter head. Up to 5/16" offset. Robust construction. Chose from 3 mounting styles customizable to fit any lathe tailstock. Repeatable Eliminates the need to offset the lathe tailstock  when turning long tapers such as Morse tapers and then having to re-zero the tailstock again upon completion ( some small lathes do not have tailstocks that are able to be offset- so this is the only way to go). Robust construction. Saves set up time on the lathe. Design lends itself to construction methods that are within the reach of the home shop machinist possessing a lathe with milling attachment. Clear fully detailed CAD drawings(6) 8-1/2" X 11" pages (printed doubled sided) and construction notes (5) 8-1/2' X 11" pages (printed doubled sided).
