2764XD1C.08 New Bulgin Single C Cell Battery Holders with Mounting Nut, Panel Mounted, Screw On Cap, Front Battery Access, Part Number Unknown. Each bid quantity is for One (1) Battery Holder. You may bid / buy any number, up to the total quantity available above. These were purchased at an industrial liquidation earlier this year, and they were brand new in an unmarked box. We packaged them in heavy Ziplok bags. These would be just the thing for providing easy battery replacement in a control panel. Just unscrew the cap, remove the old battery, and install a new one. We neglected to get good pictures of the notched mounting nut, but the mounting nut and body threads are there under the fingers in picture #6.We tested these for fit with a standard heavy duty C cell battery. The length was perfect, and the spring held the battery securely. You would actually have about another 1/2" of spring travel if you are using an oddball battery length. The diameter at first seemed a bit loose, but when you consider that you actually have to grip the old battery in order to pull it out, then I suppose the diameter is about right for a C cell. The raised ring in the bottom terminal plate fits the little ring in the base of most batteries, and nicely centers the battery in the holder. The holders are, however, much too small for a D cell. You could get a slightly larger oddball battery diameter into the holder, however, you would probably have to remove it with tweezers.
