You are bidding on a Bunn tying machine model # BT-18 1-1. This belonged to my father and brother who had a bulk mailing business and they used it to tie all different types and sizes of boxes, bundles of mail , brochures etc. for mailing. It is great "used but not abused " condition. I used it with them a few years ago when I helped them during the Christmas season. It has been sitting now for a few years in a temperature and humidity controlled environment as compared to laying in a shed/garage/barn somewhere and still works great. I have tied a few items ( boxes, bundles etc ) of various sizes and shapes to show that it is still working great as you can see in the pictures.It is 120 VAC and will take objects up to 14 1/2" high and 17 1/2 " long. If you look at the pictures you can see the blue paint on the front of the stainless steel cover is peeling off I think my dad or brother painted it with the wrong kind of paint (latex for wood ??? ) and it is slowly flaking off. That does not interfere with the operation of the machine in any way.It also comes with the complete tying arm guard to protect some one getting hurt from the back , side or front when the tying arm turns.The guard is painted safety yellow for safety and easily seen. A new machine of this type and quality would cost over $ 3000.00 to buy today !!! It also comes with the original /parts/maintenance/operation manual as you can see in the pictures.All parts are still available for this machine should some part break or wear out. This item is available for local pick-up in Lake In The Hills IL. 60156 as is or can be picked-up by a freight company then skidded or crated and then shipped by them to you. The cost of that service would be the buyers responsibility to arrange and pay for besides the cost of the machine. There is some local freight companies in the area or a shipper of your choice that could be contacted and that be arranged. I believe the machine would fit on a standard size skid.
