This brand new Burndy ratchet crimp tool kit, part# Y1MRTC KITFCI, is now available for auction. This mechanical compression tool, Y1MRTC, crimps copper lugs, splices, and C-Taps for #8 AWG - #1 AWG wire. The rotating die wheel holds six color-coded die nests, each with a code automatically embossed on the crimped connector. This tool features a ratchet mechanism, emergency release mechanism, and ergonomic design. The HYTOOLв„ў accommodates copper compression HYDENTв„ў connectors for #8 through #1 code conductor, #8 through #2 Class I flexible strand copper conductor, and #2 solid. Its rotating die is color-coded to match the connectors, and its die index embossment allows permanent inspectability of installed connectors to ensure consistently reliable and dependable connections. The package includes 1 metal case, 1 Y1MRTC full cycle ratchet tool, and varied quantities of connectors: 15 each of YC4L12, YA2CL2TC14, YA2CL2TC38, YA4CL2TC38, YA4CL2TC14, YA6CL2TC14E2, YA6CL2TC38, YA8CL2TC38, YA6CL2TC14, YA8CL2TC14, YA6CL2TC14E1, YA2C2TC38, YA6C2TC38, YA3C2TC38, YAV6CL2TC14FX, and YAV6CL2TC14E2FX. The tool also has molded comfort grips that reduce fatigue during continuous use and a ratchet mechanism that assures a complete crimp every time. Moreover, its emergency release mechanism allows the tool to be removed from the connector in case of mistaken die choice or to reposition the tool. There is a 5-year limited warranty for this tool. This tool kit is the perfect addition to your arsenal for crimping copper lugs, splices, and C-Taps with ease and reliability.
