It is ready to use and I guarantee it will not be DOA. It is a Burton Coolspot sold under the Air-Shields Vickers phototherapy light name. I have sold a bunch of these and they are the same exact thing. Burton manufactures the best exam lights and this one is no exception. The adjustable light head can be moved to any position and it stays there. Uses a watt halogen bulb with an internal cooling fan. There are 5 spot size settings and 4 filter settings controlled by two wheels in front of the bulb. (see pics) Bulb change is easy by lifting the cover. Comes with a hospital grade cord and the light head swivels 360 degrees.
