It is in excellent condition: The paint, power cord, knobs are all in new condition. I believe this unit is new old stock. I took the lamps out to inspect it and there wasn't any evidence of dust bringing me to the conclusion that the fans that cool the power source have never been run ( unit had not ever been turned on).
