For Sale 1set of Terminals • There are no markings, branding or ratings on the units. • They are heavy copper plates mounted to "C" channel pieces of insulation board. • These were recovered from a GE Spectra Bus system and are in EXCELLENT condition. I am not sure the manufacturer of these terminals - they appear to be generic and should work with other brands. SHIPPING/PACKING/PALLETIZING/INSURANCE We make every effort to INCLUDE shipping in the price of our items. I think this is easier and reduces confusion about the “real” values to be found on eBay. I list most items as NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE SHIPPING. eBay uses the term FREE SHIPPING - so we will go with that (but we all know that nothing is ever really FREE). ALL SHIPPING is done via GROUND SERVICE and only in the CONUS. We require a PHYSICAL ADDRESS (Mailing address, if different) and PHONE NUMBER to ship. Some items can ONLY be shipped to confirmed COMMERCIAL ADDRESSES - this is the carrier’s rule and not ours. If this restriction applies - it will be clearly stated. Please read the listing carefully. Shipping quotes are dependent on accuracy of addresses and request for quotes must include physical address and must indicate if the address is a residential or commercial delivery location. If you must have an item shipped only to a PO Box - you must let us know that in advance - as there may be restrictions on size/content and often shipping costs are more expensive when using USPS. We try to use flat rate USPS when possible and use FedEx otherwise - depending on the distance and weight - I have found FedEx to be very reasonable and USPS is only reasonable if item is a bit heavy and will fit in FLAT RATE BOXE. In the end we will refund any substantial difference in paid vs. actual costs. IF we are shipping any ITEM to ONLY a PO BOX or a PHYSICAL RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS there are additional fee’s. INDUSTRIAL ITEMS - many of our heavy items (palletized/crated and/or over 150#) can be shipped via regional carriers and often significant savings are possible when shipping to the carriers most local FOB and then the BUYER can go pick the item up at that location. We have had good results at very reasonable rates using this method. Please let us know if you want us to include that option for you. Sometimes a short drive will equal hundreds of dollars in savings! We will work with any buyer to make acceptable arrangements. We do not consider shipping/packing/palletizing/insurance costs as profit - they are a “pass-through” expense - the BUYER will pay what we pay. We will detail the expense as accurately as possible prior to completion of the sale. Your shipping costs are direct - we do not profit - some items are very heavy and will be expensive to ship and require extensive packing for freight - we will make every effort to find as economical arrangements as we can - these expenses are not something we control, we do not make money on shipping/packing. Also, preparing your item for shipping is a VITAL part of doing business in the electronic age. It is important to us and you that your item arrive in the same condition it is in when it leaves our care. We will pack items in such a manner as to 1. Achieve the goal of your item arriving in the same condition it is in when we ship it and 2. To comply with the guidelines set forth from the commercial carrier used and any applicable regulatory agency. Because of these two conditions of shipping prep there are expenses involved - and as noted above these costs are generally paid by the BUYER. We do make some allowances on the value of the time that it takes to prepare your item and that fee is built-in to our prices - BIN and all Best Offers and Auctions. Please remember when making any BO - I am bound by my stated shipping policy and expense - I will consider that when I consider any open offer. We DO NOT offer any type of BUYER shipper account payment options for GROUND SHIPPING. Likewise, we will not discount an item's shipping cost and have to drop it at your shipper and convince them to "just bill this buyer's account". In practice, this process is near impossible for GROUND SHIPPING SERVICE. We will consider this option ONLY in the event of an item being sent via AIR SERVICE and ONLY with prior and direct arrangement, including your shipper picking the item up from us. If you REQUIRE the item ASAP - contact us - while we cannot guarantee overnight handling, we are reasonable and understand that urgent needs do arise and will do what we can to meet your needs. We live in a very rural area and are over an hour from the shipping hub - so either we drive and drop it off or arrange a pick-up and there are time restrictions on that service as well. We will advise you of any delay resulting from necessary special handling/packaging/palletizing/crating. We will also advise you of any delay in shipping based on the payment method. Once the item is released to the shipper the SELLER will notify the BUYER and will supply all available information and details including tracking numbers, if applicable. TERMS AND LIMITATIONS Items are sold "as-is" and we are not guaranteeing any period of operability beyond initial use. Items operability is warranted through eBay Protection, however no definitive operational warranty period exists beyond item being in working order on receipt. We will not be responsible for any errors in installation or use that results in an item becoming non-functional. Be advised that there are variables that may not be apparent or discoverable even during any inspection or testing process that we may do. Buyer should be aware that many of our items are mechanical and are recovered from industrial operations and unless noted otherwise, are reported to be in working condition. In some instances we may have direct knowledge as to the operability of an item and, if so, it will be stated directly and we will supply interested buyers with all information we have available - including inventory details, inspection and/or service reports that we may contract for after the item is added to our inventory. While we will make every issue we are aware of known and describe to the best of our ability the item/system - its condition/limitations - the seller makes no warranty that the item is acceptable, merchantable or fit for any purpose. The buyer assumes all responsibility for the SAFE and LEGAL installation and SAFE and LEGAL use of this item and agrees to adhere to standard and prudent practices and will use the item in accordance with all local, state and national laws, regulations, codes and those of any applicable regulatory agency. The BUYER will research and be solely responsible to obtain all necessary permits/authorizations/inspections/insurance that may be required to use/install/operate the item. The BUYER agrees that he/she understands that this item is for an industrial/mechanical/electrical application and either possess the skills necessary for operation of the item or will contract a professional for the installation and all subsequent use will be done by a qualified entity. If the item is for use in electrical, mechanical or industrial operations the BUYER acknowledges that he/she is aware these areas involve inherent risk and recognizes that serious injury or death may occur - even when all operations are conducted in any intended manner. The BUYER further recognizes the risks associated and agrees and will assume all liability for any issue with the item once it is in his/her possession. The BUYER acknowledges that he/she may have to inspect/install/change any safety stop/release/guard, signage or other component to insure that the item will function as desired and in accordance with all ordinances, codes, regulations or insurance/industry standards related to the item and use. The BUYER agrees to defend, indemnify and release the SELLER from and against any and all claims, suits, costs and legal expenses for any direct or indirect damages/liability/loss/injury/death/property damage/equipment failure/service interruption or other failure that may arise from any use, intended or otherwise, that may result from any transport/installation/removal or operation of the item. By offer or by bid, the BUYER acknowledges and agrees with these terms. NON -LIABILITY OF SELLER Seller shall not be liable for its failure to perform hereunder due to any contingency beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, fires, floods, wars, sabotage, accidents, labor disputes or shortages, government laws, regulations, ordinances or codes, inability to obtain material, material equipment or transportation and any similar or different contingencies. In no event, whether as a result of breach of contract or warranty or tort (including negligence), will Seller be liable for any incidental or consequential damages including, but not limited to, damages for loss of revenue, cost of capital, claims of customers for service interruptions or failure of supply, and costs and expenses incurred in connection with labor, overhead, transportation, installation or removal of products or substitute facilities or supply sources.
