Have you ever been doing something, and got interrupted?  Then when you get back to your work.... "How long have I been gone?"  Here is the cure for that problem. When you have to leave your project, just place the two pins in the correct position to represent the current time.  When you come back you will know how long you have been gone. This is made from reclaimed Cypress and is  3" x 3" x 7/8" ... and is the most energy efficient clock ever. I depend on this for applying coats of paint.  Put the first coat on, set the current time, and when you might want to apply the second coat, you will know if you have waited long enough for the paint to set.  I also use this clock for all glue-up work.  Once the glue is applied and the two pieces are clamped together... I set the current time and go get a coffee.  When I come back I will know if I have waited long enough for the glue to harden and be set for a strong bond before I continue my project. This clock face has an inner circle and an outer circle.  The holes are deeper for the inner circle since they represent the hours, or the 'short hand' of the clock.  The outer circle is drilled slightly less deep and represents the 'long hand' of the clock, or the minutes.  In these photos the time is set for 1:20, check the pins to verify.   There are many ways this timer can be a help for you, such as ... You could also use this for exercise routines.  Set the clock when you start and when you get tired... just check the start time against the current time and you know how long you have been working out. Put the eggs on to boil and set this clock... when you come back to see how things are progressing you will know how long they have been boiling. I have included an extra peg in the center just in case you loose one. Thanks for looking, and good luck...
