For sale is a Bytek S-10 EPROM programmer. This programmer includes standalone keyboard operation as well as RS-232 control. This unit was part of a larger lot of surplus test equipment and arrived with a dead power supply -- electrolytic capacitor failure, a common problem in old equipment. The power supply was repaired with a NOS axial capacitor and electrolyte residue was cleaned from inside. There remains some discoloration on the internal control board due to the capacitor failure. Unfortunately we have been unable to locate a reference manual for this unit. EPROM type is selected by a numerical code, so without this code EPROM programming functionality can't be tested. As such, we're required to sell it as "for parts." All keypad buttons respond to presses and the display shows no failed digits during power-on test.
