This manual is 36 pages plus the covers measuring about 6” x 9”. The front cover reads in part: Repair List and Instructions – For Care And Operation Of IOWA OverSize Guaranteed Power Engines, The Chore Boy Associated Line – Gasoline 2 to 25 H.P., Kerosene 2 ½ to 25 H.P. No. 126 – Associated Manufacturers Co., Waterloo, Iowa This manual is illustrated throughout and has detailed information on operating and maintaining the farm engines made by the company. I don’t find a date on this manual but it is early 20th century and probably dates to around 1915 to 1920 or so. The first page has an list of Iowa Over Size Guaranteed Power Engines including: Iowa Chore Boy 2 H.P. Iowa Hired Man (WC) 2 ½ H.P. Iowa Hired Hand (AC) 2 ½ H.P. Iowa Three Mule Team 3 ½ H.P. Iowa Six Mule Team 6 H.P. Iowa Eight Mule Team 8 H.P. Iowa Ten Mule Team 10 H.P. Iowa Twelve Mule Team 12 H.P. Iowa Twenty-Five Stationary (Twin Cylinder) 25 H.P. Iowa Twenty-Five Portable (Twin Cylinder) 25 H.P This manual is an original antique published by the company 90+ years ago. The contents are fully complete but the covers were separated along the spine and there were some chips off the edges on the edges, mostly on the back cover. I applied a piece of acid free paper archival tape along the spine to keep the manual intact. There is some toning to the paper from age and some wear on the edges on the covers but it is still a pretty good specimen overall. Email any questions. Thanks for looking.
