"J.A.P. Industrial Engines, Model 2A. Reference Book.". This is an original user's manual for a JAP 2A 4 stroke petrol stationary engine. Publisher: J.A. Prestwich & Company Limited, Northumberland Park, London, England. Printed in England, in English language. Date: Not dated, this is likely from the about the 1950's. 23 pages (plus covers), this measures about 137 mm x 213 mm (about 5.4" x 8.4"). With line drawn illustrations, this covers: description and reconditioning dimensions, instructions for running, Magneto service instructions, spare parts list for Wico Type FW Magneto, sectional drawings with pointers to part numbers, Overhauling engine, 13T Carburetter Maintenance and spare parts list, and then a text spare parts list for the JAP Model 2S engine, and guarantee details. A little ink writing at the bottom of the front cover. Condition: Covers show general wear with wrinkles and creased corners, corners are bumped with small corner creases inside, covers have caused a little browning to the first and last pages, inside otherwise shows some useage but is clean and quite presentable, reasonable to reasonable plus condition overall.
