C Waters Boston, Mass Governor for Steam Engine Weighs about 35 lbs. Measures 18-1/2" tall 1-1/2" inlet/outlet (bottom) and 2" on side This is a nice old style flyball Governor.  Mechanically seems all okay.  No breaks or welds. I can pull out the balls and the valve will bottom as expected. Spins freely and adjustments work. Cleaned but not repainted. This will look period correct and work for an 1870-1900 period steam engine.  Please look at pics as they are part of the description.  Email any questions prior to bidding
