It does have some rust on it in places, but it does not appear to affect the travel. The screw turns easily, and the stage moves back and forth smoothly. The screw has an outer diameter of 15mm, a pitch of 10mm, and it provides about 720mm or 28-3/8" of travel. Sold as-is. Approximate overall unpacked dimensions: 36"L x 4"W x 3"H.
