Cact-Co Model A1 Cartridge Actuated Cable Cutter Up for auction is (1) used Cact-Co Model A1 Cartridge Actuated Cable Cutter, 4 Cartridges & 1 set spare blades. Tool is in good shape and was removed from service working fine with no problems. Includes 1 pair of spare blades (blades are a little rusty but never used.). Also comes with 4 Yellow Cartridges. This was not a cheap tool new. You can have it now for only a fraction of the price! Guaranteed Great Working Condition! The Model A1 power line cutter is a light weight (4.9 lbs and 15 inches long) industrial cable cutting tool. Cutting electrical and structural cable has been reduced to an easy task with the CACT-Co family of cartridge actuated cable cutters. The Model A1 cutter is designed to cut 5/8 inch cross arm bolts, 1/4 to 1/2 inch guywire and up to 3/4 inch ACSR in areas requiring storm damage cleanup. The open frame Model A1 is prepared for cutting by first twisting the handle and pulling back to expose the breech. A proper color coded cartridge is inserted into the breech and the handle is pushed forward and rotated to lock it into position. Then the double action trigger is pulled, resulting in an instantaneous and uniform cut.
