From a city surplus sale, a tray/food conveyor. It's overall dimensions are 10' long, 20" wide, and 34" high. The belt itself is 8' long and 10" wide. Belt appears to be food grade, and is in good shape. The machine as a whole works, the speed control does vary the speed of the belt. Please note: the control box *appears* to have buttons for "frwd/brake/revers" and "run/jog", but those are just rubber nubs they used to block out those holes, near as I can tell. If you press on those two nubs, they're just hard rubber. The start/stop switch does work. Also PLEASE NOTE that the belt won't move if the speed control knob is set at 0. If it's not moving when you plug it in, make sure that the knob is at a positive speed, and you have moved the start/stop switch to "start". There is also a plate in the surface at one end (the closer end in the photo) that has a switch which detects weight, and stops the belt. That's the end the belt moves toward as well. It will of course have to go freight. It's really too big to palletiz, so it'll just have to go as it sits. I'll tape some cardboard corners onto the exposed edges and corners to protect it from dings. I'll also put some "CENTER OF MASS" signs so that if the carriers use forklifts, they use them in the right spot. Feel free to ask for a quote to your zip, but I NEED a zip, if not address, and I also NEED to know if the location is a business, and does it have loading docks or forklifts? I use newspaper for small items, and packing peanuts only for very light items. I use a variety of bubble wrap and peanut-packs for most mid-size items. I do have costs associated with packaging materials, so please keep that in mind on the shipping amounts. Heavy items will be packaged using solid styrofoam block. It is very rare for the items I pack to be broken, as my feedback should attest. I do not notify the winner of when a package is shipped, unless they ask me to, because I just don't have time to notify everyone, and 95% of people never ask. LOCAL PICKUP: Local pickup is great!
