At BUY IT NOW, you get a loaded special edition version of the 2465B scope: the 2465BDM. 2465BDM includes dmm, frequency counter, and gpib options. You can buy more than 1 (have several).   The Tek 2465B is a well designed 4channel 400MHz bandwidth portable package, made from mid-1988 to mid-1996 that would be useful for decades to come. Costs only a tiny fraction of its  $12000 new price (with this option pack), yet years from now well maintained 2465Bs (last scopes Tek made to be repairable), will still be faithfully serving their owners as the pile of unrepairable junked DSOs grows to the size of a mountain. DSOs have tried to emulate the features of high performing analog scopes since day-1, and in some respects are still trying. Arguably the only advantage DSOs have is in recording, while still suffering disadvantages in waveform fidelity. If  uploading waveforms to your computer is not is not what you plan on doing with a scope, then get my 2465B.     Will be shipped freshly calibrated, with instructions book on CD, power cord, and 90 days GUARANTY (my parts & labor, your shipping, and only if you don't make offer for less - lesser offers delete guaranty)... READY TO USE !    Since this is a listing for more than one 2465BDM, photos may not be of the one you'll get, but rest assured, all are in excellent cosmetic & electrical condition. If you need photos of the exact one you'll get, I'll need your email or mms enabled cell. First photo shows the 2465BDM hooked up to a standard Eppley Weston cell that puts out 1.019V being read by DMM option. 2nd photo shows DMM option reading the resistance of a 50ohm terminator. 3rd photo shows 2465BDM frequency counter reading on 10MHz from time mark generator. 4th photo shows response of scope to "autoscale+measure frequency" of a 1KHz signal from a time mark generator. 5th photo shows result of asking scope to "autoscale+measure volts" of a 2Vpp signal. Note it tells you it goes positive from ground and that it spends more time on than off since the average is slighly more than 1V. 6th photo shows response to 2 equal amplitude signals one at 40MHz, the other 400MHz. Yes, the 400MHz looks slightly smaller, but by definition, on a 400MHz scope, 400MHz can be 30% smaller, which clearly it is not 30% 7th photo shows optional new still sealed P6063B probes you can add (see available extras to follow). 8th photo shows optional P6137 probe you can add.       I choose to work on 2400s because they were the last repairable scopes Tek made (newer TDSs are unrepairable, not something to brag about). 2400s are my specialty, so mine shall arrive working correctly, whether you're buying just 1 or several to outfit an entire lab or classroom. Please keep in mind if buying another's 2465B, that chances are, regardless of price, almost certain theirs will have problems (including a dying Li battery battery needed to sustain cal). I sell them because I fix them, others sell them because they need fixing. (It simply isn't reasonable to expect a scope will have lasted 20 years without accumulating some issues that a seller may or may not be aware of, which is why they may be willing to let it go for less than I'm).    I urge clients to contact me before bidding so I can suggest matching accessories to best suit your needs and budget. It is no secret that ebay raises cost by by some 14%: 10-11% goes to sales commission, and Paypal will keep 3-4% of the money sent thru them (something a cheque does for free, meaning if you were to write me a ck for $1300, I would get paid $1300). Paypal's fees buys you speed and consumer protection. Ebay's fees buys you the right to grade me with Feedback. Be generous if you can. Ebay won't let me post any info here that endangers their take, but they will give you all that info as soon as you buy even the cheapest item from me (like a $5 handle label), and nothing stops you from doing that first.   AVAILABLE EXTRAS (YES it is possible to offer more than B-I-N price):  200MHz 10:1 and direct 1:1 switchable Tek P6063B new probe for $110/ea, (cost $400/ea new from Tek); 400MHz 10:1 Tek P6137 probes for $150/each (cost $400/ea new from Tek); top pouch for $40, rackmounting for $80, new/unused CRT for $680 more... let me know if I left out any you want...  Please do not offer less than B-I-N price on ebay since even clicking on the B-I-N price is already an offer for 14% less, unless you're doing it to reduce import customs value and willing to compensate me as outlined in next paragraph...  I ship worldwide. Ebay offers now a cost-effective global shipping service to many countries, whose calculator is included for this listing. This service has 4 limitations which may or may not apply to you: a) it does not serve all countries; b) it masks other faster shipping options to countries served; c) it takes 10-20 days, and d) it asks you to prepay your country's import tax.  To high taxing countries (many tax at 30% of ebay purchase price), if you need to reduce the tax, 1 way to do it is to "make offer" for less. I don't mind helping you save on duty tax so long as I'm still fully paid. So if you make an offer for say $100, be sure to clearly state in your terms you are doing this to reduce your tax, and that you will quickly pay me the difference (your first paypal will contain my paypal name for making the second) and that I don't have to ship anything until I get fully paid. Paying a $30 tax on a "$100" scope is a lot less taxing than paying $400 in tax.  You get a 14 day right of return for refund or exchange, provided you don't breach tamper seals, return everything in same shape as received, pack it as well as I, and pay for all shipping. California buyers pay sales tax (I will try to add something for Californians to somewhat compensate for their higher cost). HURRY INCENTIVE: If you buy & pay by 30 Nov 14, I shall add a Tek probe, FREE ! also - FREE recalibration when due 1 year from now if you send it to me on a prepaid round trip.
