TEST CAL INSTRUMENTS The most economical , high value service  in the USA in Repairs, Rentals, Calibration , Parts, Supply of HP Agilent Analyzers and SRS equipment.  **********8563e and 8593e have an extra 30$ charge (350$ total) since it takes 3 times as long and is 3 times the trouble.all the other 26 ghz ones are 320$> 13 ghz  models are only 300$, 6.5 ghz models are 250$> 3 ghz models are only 200$> ******************* Convert your hp agilent 856* series 22 ghz analyzer to 26.5 ghz with no added mixers by using my secret cal technique!  8563E has an extra 25$ insurance fee on shipping, all other units are standard 320$.  I can ship under your shipping account number no problem. We offer  N.I.S.T. traceable calibrations with certificate and sticker. I offer 1 year  warranty on all calibrations and repairs!  (does not include cal out of spec or other issues,  due to defective hardware but rather only  if the cal drifts naturally or the repair does not fix the issue due to my fault.) cannot pay for shipping back to me or you for free recal or re-repair)  My calibrations should last at least 2 years, maybe 3 (depending on use) before  needing a recal  Most common types of cal from companies like tmi, metrictest, teknet , test equipment connection, testmart, cal right,etc...     : type 1. Run the unit thru the test and adjustment module in the back with a software (one of 3 providers) that connects to a signal generator, splitter and power meter , and old style computer  which merely tests the functionality of the unit and does not adjust any parameter in any way. the software gives a pass/fail if it performs within a wide gap  of spec. (does not have to be accurate whatsoever to pass!) they then give you a cal certificate printed by the software  stating if it passes or fails. the flatness accuracy can be within 6 db range of error! unacceptable!  average price : 400$  plus shipping and handling 2 ways type 2. Companies like TMI dont have any cal automated software (not that you need it if you know what you're doing and can afford to spend some extra time on it) , they just have a tech turn it on and go thru some basic routine to test functionality. I have had multiple units come to me from TMI and other cal labs with a new cal from them and it was more than 8 db off with many holes , frequency was wayyyy out of spec! not even close!  and span accuracy was way out of spec because they had hardware defects ! yet somehow the units had  cal certificates and they verified that it was indeed calibrated and passed with no issues within spec. this has happened many times between me and my partner and other colleagues ,  but tmi is not the only company out in the test equipment field that is notorious for this kind of service.  average price: 300$ type 3. companies like cal right in san diego are actually legit cal companies. they can do a great job realigning the flatness with their software as well as a frequency adjustment on some units , even if its way off to begin with, they also include a data report  printed by the software which can be tricky to interpret . they can also fix basic issues for fair prices but their cal cost is way higher than what I charge. and they only do basic sytf realignment and flatness adjustment ! there are about 6  other adjustments including  span adjustments that need to be calibrated to ensure your analyzer functions like new again and there simply is not any cal company in the country that performs all the adjustments in their cal routine. I am the only one. and my price is rediculously cheap . average price for type 3 cal : 700$ Type 4. this is my cal routine and consists of realigning the loda amplitude and dual mixer alignment  on the a14 board, then realign the yig/yto  which is the span accuracy adjustment, and cal out freq which calibrates the frequency accuracy across the spectrum (10 mhz clock cal) ,then check and adjust the a16 board micro adjustment ,and verify the sampler on the a15 frequency synth board is where it should be , then perform the sytf (E series)/ytf(A series) realignment which calibrates the amplitude and preselector, then complete flatness calibration and realignment according to the service manual but doing a secret technique I figured out from years of experience that allows me to program the analyzer to support up to 26.5 ghz without having the option 26 ! some analyzers may be only able to get to 26 ghz within spec after my flatness adjustment but most can get up to 26.5  perfectly within spec! Every analyzer you buy won't be able to peform past 22 ghz within spec without my adjustments,  this is a huge added bonus for the unit that greatly increases its value  and It's all free, no extra charge , included in the basic cal! .I also check all the voltages to make sure the power supply across all 8 boards are right on the money. and I also adjust the crt as well to ensure that you get the most brightness and focus as possible! (quite often I can convert a bad crt into a good crt with only a simple series of adjustments! ) my units will perform like new in regards to amplitude,  attenuator, span and frequency accuracy unless there is a hardware defect and if that it is the case I can usually tell you what needs replacing or repairing and can offer you a quote . My repair prices are generally half that of any other cal lab because I work out of home . Feel free to come by my home lab any time to have a tour in fontana california 92335          My price for this extensive cal/refurb job : only 320$  !  I can also include basic cal data for an extra 100$ which includes the basic things such as amplitude deviations, and final measured freq for 10 mhz and 300 mhz outputs , span accuracies, attenuator loss, etc.... (IF you merely need a simple cal such as performance verification, (type 2 cal) I offer that at only 150$ and can tell you if there are any minor issues with it and what the problem likely is.) If you need performance cal plus ytf realign/flatness only (type 3 cal) I can do it for only 250$. I don't use automated software so I Don't have data reports but that's because its really not necessary, if your unit performs like new then the accuracy will be so good, its a waste of time and money to generate the data report right? plus you probably won't be able to understand the  report anyways. data reports are basically only good for type 1 calibrations, where nothing has been adjusted and you just want to see how well it still performs after all these years of use. after all the adjustments you can pretty much count on that it will perform dead on. and if not then it means you have a hardware defect which should be fixed. I can Repair and calibrate all hp agilent 8563e*   8562e 8561e 8560e 8563a 8562a  8562b 8561a  8561b  8560a    prices are based off 8562E / 8562a and below. any 8563E adjusments are 50$ more as they require much more time and devotion for cal than all the other listed analyzers. in that case I can increase the buy it now price or decrease if you need a simple performance cal. I don't have the necessary equipment for 40 ghz or 50 ghz flatness  calibrations. there are only 1 or 2 labs in the country that can do that and will probably run you about 1000$ .  but I can do all the other adjustments for that model (8564,5E)no problem. some sources are selling their calibrations(which aren't even calibrations at all, merely a quick run thru of the unit ) for more than triple what I am asking! my service is 10 times better and more value than any cal service in the country guaranteed ! how am I able to do this? its because I'm specialized in only adjusting 856 series analyzers! so if you have any 856 series, send it in and you can be sure that your unit will perform like new once you get it back! and if I cant make it run like new, I will tell you what you need to repair it or at least be able to tell you which parts to check. I also repair these units all day so if it doesn't pass cal because of a hardware defect, we may be able to work something out in the future if that would arise. Also if you have a lab that has lots of these 856 series analyzers,  I can offer my training services to your techs to teach them how to fully adjust and calibrate your units up to 26.5 ghz  so that way you don't waste thousands of dollars a year sending these in for cal and risking damage or shipment issues , or the trouble of packing and shipping them in general. not to mention further the capacity of your 22 ghz only analyzers.  that price will be around the same as this ebay auction so feel free to pull the trigger and do the buy it now for that as well if you need my training services. If your'e located in the southern california area, it would be very easy for me. or you can fly me out to your state and accommodate me there for a day or two and I'll only charge you the flat 300$ as well . (because I love to travel) also if you have techs , you can bring them to me and I can train them at my lab in california for the same price (300$ ). and that will include advice any time future issues at your lab would arise . Read my 100 Percent Positive FEEDBACK! My feedback says it all! I currently refurb these units and run all cal myself. you can read the feedback or view my other listings if you want to make a purchase on a unit with all these adjustments . all current 856 listings have all been refurbished with this service I offer. I don't have the software yet for the 859 series units . they arent as easy to adjust but I can perform a few adjustments on them such as yto (span) realignment and frequency realignment as well as the internal calibration procedure. the flatness routine requires software which is about 10,000$ for the software alone  per model . I do all my adjustments manually according to service manual and triple check all frequencies  to make sure its flawless as possible. I can usually take an analyzer that has incredibly bad amplitude accuracy with no support of 22 to 26.5 ghz and make it fully support up to 26.5 ghz in almost perfect amplitude accuracy  which is also a great added bonus for buying my calibration. no other cal lab knows how to do this except me. so if you want your 22 ghz analyzer to support 26.5 ghz you need to buy  my cal . some analyzers can only get good accuracy to about 25.5 ghz but most can get all the way up to 26.5 with no problem by using my technique. I accept Paypal or cash in person on pickup. I have a lab here you can use to verify it works perfectly before taking it home with you. I also offer cover painting /dent/scratch removal or minimizing for these units using a powder coat technique which electrically bonds the paint to the metal making it scratch proof and perfect for refurbers. the color is very similar to hp and a shade of military green/grey . there are other companies such as teknet that offer cheap spray paint only that scratches right off ! our job is almost identical to hp's and has a similar texture as well unlike the other companies which is just flat with no texture. the price is 100$  plus shipping for paint only and 150$ for dent removal with paint. we can minimize major dents and take out minor dents completely. you can also purchase it thru this auction. just let me know so I can lower the buy it now price. I also offer replacement services for the same price in this auction and buyable thru this ebay auction . you must provide the parts . I do have lots of parts units for these units however it is better if you can supply the parts. If you cant find any I may be able to sell you a part thru another ebay auction as well. I can replace : attenuator, yto, ytf, sytf, any of the 7 circuit boards, crt, dual mixer, lo dist amp, power supply, etc... . service will cost at most 300$(about 1/3 of any other company out there , and wouldn't you rather have it repaired by a specialist such as  myself? I can do it in one day and ship it right back to you! ) . if interested tell me what you need replacing and then I can adjust the buy it now. price will include basic realignment of system as well . troubleshooting is much more expensive however and very time intensive and would cost thousands of dollars at another company that does not specialize in the 6 series like me. but if you already know the bad part for sure, I am definitely  the guy to send it to. And It can all be paid and ordered thru this ebay auction. If you need trouble shooting I could charge only around 30$ an hour(1/3 the cost of any other lab)  and then pay the flat ebay service  fee of say 300$ for the replacement and realign of the part. and then an extra 200$ if you wish to have my full cal routine on top of that. all services can be paid thru ebay and paypal on this listing. All services from me must go thru ebay as I am new to advertise these services here and need the feedbacks. you can however pay me cash  in person for the services . paypal is not needed. I am not like the other dealers who list for rediculous prices that no one has ever bought it for in hopes they can make themselves rich. All my prices sci elec test instruments are fair going rate prices. Please feel free to email me any questions as I will respond immediately! Average shipping price back to you  fully insured  is 60$. It may be more or less depending on your zip code and your analyzer. if you have an 8563e living in new york  it will likely be higher. and 8561a  living in california will be  lower. you must provide excellent shipping box and soft foam. no peanuts accepted. preferably double boxed and or vacuum foam packed. bubble wrap is ok if paired with soft foam. Please dont ship me an analyzer without soft foam. you can buy it at any pool store( foam noodles ) if box is not doubled, then the side walls need to be thick and strong.
