Cambridge Technology, Inc. Series 603X Servo System For sale- a Cambridge Technology, Inc. Series 603X Servo System Model 6034FM. I say system because that’s what it says on the unit, but all you get is just the blue and aluminum box you see pictured. If there is more to the system than that you will have to source it elsewhere. I assume it is a galvanometer/mirror position controller/interface without knowing that for a fact. Good physical condition other than a place just above the Cambridge name on the front where it looks like the surplus guys removed a property of decal with a chisel or something equally crude. Powers up but makes a bunch of noise, sounds like relays clicking on and off. So I pulled the cover off and I don’t see any relays. The sound does not seem to be coming from the gold anodized box on the right, and I really don’t see anything that could be making it on the left. So I don’t know what to think. Might be perfectly normal, might be because nothing is connected, I don’t know. My sense would be that it perhaps has a problem that will need attention, so I am selling it for parts or repair only. Ebay (in their infinite wisdom) forces me to include a “Handling Time” in the listing which they then factor into the delivery time. As a default I use 5 days to allow for the worst case scenario, which would be that I am out of town when you buy and then can’t find the item when I get home.
