Untitled Document This sale is for a Canberra Lynx Multi Channel Analyzer serial number 03085454. I have bench tested this item and it powers up and displays though the network connection on my browser. I did not get the power supply for this gov surplus item but it is an easily available 12VDC 1AMP power supply with coaxial connector. Although this MCA works with Canberra software (not supplied), you can also use it with less functionality direct from a web browser. I would recommend to the buyer two items: 1.) This MCA has been in storage in a gov warehouse for some time so you should replace the memory batteries on the circuit board. The batteries are standard A76 size button cells and replacing them is fairly straight forward with minor disassembly needed. 2.) The firmware on this unit is 1.0.1.18 and it uses Java. The firmware upgrade uses Flash and works much better. I would recommend updating the firmware. If you need info on doing this I can help you and also point you in the direction of manuals. This unit is guaranteed to be in perfect working condition as described (other than needing backup batteries replaced). All that is for sale is the unit as shown in the photos, no power supply or cables. I will include a CD with information on the firmware upgrade.
