Canon B740 Faxphone color inkjet fax and copier Description This a Canon B740 Faxphone inkjet fax machine, with color capability. It is complete with all accessories and is in the original packaging. The machine worked fine with the color printhead for many years. I finally started having problems with the printhead so I bought another color one, but it also had problems. Since I don't need color, I bought a couple of the black-only printheads, which worked fine. I've included several printheads in various states, and four black ink tanks for the color printheads should you ever get one working. If you're happy with black-only printing, you can use the machine as is. If you have good luck unclogging printheads and don't mind fussing with them, you can try to get the extra printheads working. If you want color, you can buy a color printhead and color ink, but be aware that this is quite expensive. The machine feeds output paper fine, prints fine, and feeds single sheets well in the input feeder. It has trouble feeding multiple input sheets -- it tends to feed more than one sheet at a time. You can try to hand-feed it but it's tricky. It may be that something in the feeder needs cleaning, so if you're handy with such things, you can probably get it working. It worked great until recently. This would be good for someone who knows how to fix these machines, or for someone who just needs to receive faxes. These days good multifunction machines with fax capability are pretty cheap and work well, so this machine isn't worth much. I have priced it accordingly. Sorry about the pictures. I tried taking them with a new smartphone, but it did an awful job, and by the time I found out, I had the machine all packed up (which was a lot of work). So I just have a blurry picture of the machine and a good picture of the box. I had also taken pictures of the accessories and the serial number plate on the back of the machine, but they weren't usable. Sorry. But I think I've described it well, and if you Google it you can find pictures that show what it's like -- it has no cosmetic flaws and no broken/missing plastic parts. Thank you for your interest.
