CARBON MOTOR BRUSHES FOR CLARKE EDGERS SUPER 7R AND SUPER E PART # 40818A SET OF FOUR BRUSHES The MSRP of this item is $6.50 each, not including shipping. You are getting one brush free... plus free shipping! These brushes are guaranteed identical to those supplied by Clarke. They are from the same manufacturer. The lettering may differ from the photo above. This part is for newer style edgers. Please check to make sure this is actually the part you need. I also carry the springs and brushes for the older style. CAUTION! If you want to unroll the brush holder spring with your finger to check for cracks, do not unroll it more than halfway! More than that may ruin the spring! Install the brushes with the bevel of the brush facing towards the spring--in other words, the bevel should push the spring against the brass clip, not pull it away. If installed backwards, the spring may be damaged, and/or the brush may hang up. I also carry the springs (part # 50932A) and the brush holder assembly (40130A) for these edgers. Find them here. If you need one and don't see it listed, please message me and I'll get it on order, if I haven't already. NEW: I now carry edger lube. Find it here.
