Weather resistant. These seals, due to their four-locking barbs, afford even more security. This is the cargo seal that is widely used in the United States and Canada. These cargo seals have ALL the right features! DESCRIPTION OF THIS CARGO SEAL: High-quality, Cargo Seal Brand. Each security seal is a "one use" seal which locks into place and is non-removable (without leaving a clear indication of tampering). NO SPECIAL TOOL is required to attach these seals: Simply loop the tail around, insert the tail's end into the head, push it in until it snaps, and pull on tail to confirm it seated. Each seal has four "barbs" in the head (assuring the seal's tail is firmly secured in place when inserted). Each seal displays a high-contrast eight-digit serial number that has been heat embossed / painted into the plastic. Each seal measures approximately as follows: The total length of the seal is 8.25" end-to-end (21,0 cm). The seal's tail has a width of .305" and is .05" thick. The seal's nut-head is approximately .67" wide at its widest and .6" tall. The tail's whip end measures .22" thick at it's thickest point. The useable length of this seal is approximately seven-inches. The seal's average breaking strength is rated at 34 pounds (these seals can be forcefully removed without having to use cutters). One-hundred seals weigh 12.3 ounces (348 grams).
