The food storage box is made of polyethylene for light weight, durability, and resistance to cracking and moisture. Corner reinforcements help prevent chipping and cracking. Handles facilitate lifting and carrying. A smooth interior surface facilitates cleaning. Panels on the sides can be affixed with labels (sold separately) indicating the contents and date for inventory control. Two or more boxes can be nested for compact storage. A Carlisle 1064702 StorPlus Lock-Tight lid (sold separately) can be used with the box to contain food and keep it fresh. The food storage box measures 26.00 x 18.00 x 3.50 inches (L x W x H). (L is length, the horizontal distance from left to right; W is width, the horizontal distance from front to back; H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point.) It has a capacity of 5.00 gallons. The box is dishwasher-safe and withstands temperatures from -40 to +180 degrees F.
