Stamp Resin - Photopolymer Resin Gel for Making Rubber Stamps Includes 15 three ounce bottles, 15 5'' x 10" base sheets (substrate) and a 17 foot roll of dam. RESIN INFORMATION There are three ounces of resin in each bottle, filled about 2/3 full to make pouring convenient. It is easier to stop the flow with a small container and bubbles are hardly an issue. Bubbles become an issue when making successive pours from the same container. As the remaining resin goes back in the container, it folds over itself, trapping air. When the next pour is made, these air bubbles are included in the next pour, making a poor die. It takes about four hours for these bubbles to settle out before making the next pour. Our wide mouth bottles make pouring the resin much easier. Pouring resin through a small opening restricts the flow of the resin and also contributes to bubbles. The base sheet is necessary to support the die during scrub out. One side of the base sheet substrate has a UV sensitive coating that permanently bonds to the resin when exposed to ultraviolet blacklight. Only basic instructions are included.
