Connoisseur by Dexter Russell 12-Inch, Carving Knife with Granton Edges. #40D-12 This knife is a real bargain because it is stamped "factory seconds". If you look at photo 4, you'll see that beneath the first two "Grantons" is "extra grinding", for lack of a better term. If you look at the 5th photo, the same thing occurred under 4 consecutive grantons in the center of the blade. That's it! Because of that, it was relegated to the "seconds" bin.  Other than that, I can't really find anything else wrong with it. Because of this, it's your opportunity to get a beautiful knife at a fraction of the cost. When I spotted this knife at the factory, I scooped it up pretty fast!
