Dow CorningВ® 795 Silicone Building Sealant is a top-notch, one-part, neutral cure silicone sealant designed for building applications. With superior durability, flexibility, and medium modulus silicone rubber upon exposure to atmospheric moisture, this silicone sealant can accommodate plus or minus 50 percent joint movement in a well-designed joint. Its primary uses include but are not limited to structural and nonstructural glazing of glass, metal and plastic, weatherproofing applications like perimeter sealing of doors and windows, and adhering stiffeners to building panels. What's more, Dow Corning 795 Sealant boasts of exceptional resistance to sunlight, rain, sleet, snow, ultraviolet radiation, atmospheric contamination, ozone, and temperature extremes. Plus, joint performance does not significantly change with time or exposure to weather. Our medium modulus building sealant for expansion joints and glazing of glass, metals, and plastics is available in 12 gray cartridges of 10.3 fluid ounces (305 ml). It's important to note that Dow CorningВ® 795 Silicone Building Sealant should not be applied to building materials that bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents, or in totally confined spaces. It should also not be used on frost-laden or wet surfaces, or surfaces that are in direct contact with food. Always check the cartridge label and Specification Data Sheet for additional limitations.
