Cat3 Communications Cable - 50' lengths - gray - 24 AWG 4-pair Type MPR/CMR-CSA Description This is Cat3 communications cable, used these days for telephone wiring; and formerly used for network wiring when speeds were limited to 10 Mbps. It is marked as follows: COMTRAN CORP. 24 AWG (UL) TYPE MPR/CMR - CSA TYPE PCC FT4 - IEEE 802.3 10 BASE T LEVEL 3. I don't know what all of that means but maybe it's important to you. It is gray. It's also very old, made in 11/93, and is old enough to be made in the USA out of real copper. Nowadays such wire is usually made in China, and they may call it "copper" but it's probably copper-plated aluminum. I have a spool with an estimated 250' of cable left on it. I'm selling it in 50' increments -- buy one (1) and get 50', buy two (2) and get 100' in one length. Buy five (5) (or however many I have left of the original 5), and get it all, spool included. The lengths may vary by up to 10% either way (I do it by weight). Shipping is complicated, and the eBay estimate for multiple lengths is probably high. I will refund any significant excess.without being asked. A single 50' length can go by First Class (it's about 14 oz) but more than that must go Priority Mail, and any amount can go in a Regional Rate box if you don't want the spool. I can't give quotes until I cut and weigh what you order, but if you ask I can give a guess that will be pretty close. Shipping We can offer lower prices by charging separately for shipping.
