CDV-717 Victoreen Geiger Counter Model No. 1 Base Station/Portable  O.C.D. CDV-717 Serial #99731      This unit was used lightly in a training setting that did not see much use, it has been sitting in a cluttered office for the last 25 years. It was calibrated in April of 1983. It features a duel use in a NBC Fallout Shelter with a 15 foot cable so you can take readings outside wile you are in your protected shelter or with the cable neatly stored inside the unit for portable on the spot readings. There is a brand new carry strap new in the packaging inside the unit.  The unit is powered by 1 D Battery. Victoreen CDV-717 Model No. 1 Geiger Counter. Received this as a tool for teaching but I'm no longer teaching and have no use for it. UNCERTAIN IF IT WORKS OR NOT. I just used it as a prop and never tested it to see if it actually works. Looks to be in good condition but you are buying it as is. It may or may not work. You get what you see in the pictures, Geiger Counter. No returns, please ask all questions before bidding.
