Challoner, of Oshkosh, WI - part of the Medalist line of production woodworking machines. This is a 527 - good late fabricated machine, making it more maintainable than the Greenlee 545 It's maybe 1970's or later machine. I'll find the serial number... It came from Barn Door furniture in NC, and had been gone through and was virtually rebuilt just a few years before they closed - I know that for a fact. It's in good shape - which means something on these machines. New chain, races, good electrics. I got it from their auction, and never ran it. Just sitting in the warehouse with all the other machines I collected and never ran... Classic Machine Works, dot com, Chambersburg, PA  This machine has a 7' length capacity First top head - Cutoff with bevel/miter - 10 HP Second horizontal top head - Scoring - 3 HP Second horizontal bottom head - Scoring - 3 HP Third horizontal top head - Tenon - 5 HP Third horizontal bottom head - Tenon - 5 HP Fourth vertical head - Cope - 7.5 HP Overall length - 12' Width at upper hold-down rails - 9' 4" (This part could be removed for transport if over-width is a problem) I recently sold it's big brother - a 527TS, with 14' capacity, for $8500. I'm thinking $5,000 is fair for a good machine...
