Champion High Capacity Cartridge Filter CP721-1000-PP606B Pipeline Pigging FMT Champion Process offers High Capacity Cartridge Filters. The 720 series high capacity cartridge filters offer advanced performance for applications requiring high flow and/or high solids removal. The 720 series high capacity filters are also excellent economical upgrades to other high capacity filters offered in the market. They are also commonly used as an option for bag filter upgrades that require greater capacity. The solids generated in pipeline pigging can cause serious problems to downstream processes and equipment. When existing filters are used, they are often incapable of handling the extremely large solids loading encountered during pigging. An inadequate filter system will plug rapidly and cause high filter usage. Traditional filters can collapse under pipeline pressure and can stall the pigging operation. The CP721 cartridge has become a standard for most pipeline operators and service companies.
