Chattanooga Intelect 700C Ultrasound Therapy Combo Unit Tested and Guaranteed as Described INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AVAILABLE The Intelect 700C is an electrotherapy device designed to provide high voltage stimulation and ultrasound therapy applied independently or in combination. ULTRASOUND: Unit utilizes a 10 square centimeter lead zirconate crystal for longer life and stabilized ultrasound energy output. The unit also has watertight applicator for underwater treatment. Safety features include maximum head temperature sensor to protect the transducer by discontinuing output if the sound head overheats. There are three treatment modes (continuous, pulsed at 50 percent, and pulsed at 20 percent). There is also an output meter that displays output in watts and watts per centimeter. HIGH VOLTAGE: Peak current/voltage readout to monitor either peak current or voltage. Equipped with surge on-off (interrupted) times that can be independently set from .5 to 60 seconds. Unit provides four modes of operation including continuous, reciprocate, surge on-off (interrupted), and probe. Includes a durable electrical treatment timer and amplitude balance control that allows adjustment of the current amplitude into red and black electrodes. A polarity switch selects positive or negative polarity of the active electrode; and pulse frequency adjustable from 1 to 120 pulses per second. This unit [Serial# 3364] powers up immediately and awaits selection of therapy mode. Ultrasound works flawlessly, and the temperature sensor does cut off power to Ultrasound Head when maximum temperature is reached. It can be reset by turning the selector off and back on. The High Voltage side of the unit functions as designed. I personally tested the output of both the Red and Black pads. They both work fine, and are completely adjustable by the selector controls. The small Dispersive Pad has an adhesive side for easy use. The Probe and Probe Cable are included, but they are not patient tested.
