Please keep this document as your service record for your Ultrasound Equipment. Ultrasound Power Measurement Procedures All Ultrasound head power measurements were using an OHMIC model UPM-DT-10AV serial number 90131032 ultrasound Power Meter. The meter was tested using a known 1 gram weight on the arm of the cone target with an accuracy of 99.73%. The meter tare was set to 0.00 prior to each reading. Purified degassed water was used as the medium between the ultrasound heads and the cone target during all measurements. FDA standards of not greater than +10% of maximum power and +/-20% for all other power levels tested. Manufacture specifications more stringent than FDA standards were considered. All measurements are listed for each unit tested. Ultrasound Heads were positioned center of the cone target for maximum readings prior to the final calibration. Electrotherapy Channel Test Procedures for units with Electrotherapy Channels All channels were tested with the manufacture recommended 10 Watt resistor connected across the patient leads. Waveform measurements were viewed using a 100MZ Oscilloscope. Note: All units passed this test unless otherwise listed. Current Leakage Test Procedure A digital Milliamp test meter was used to measure the current from the unit to earth ground with the unit powered on and the cord plugged into a ground isolation adapter. Leaks of less than 300 micro amps from the chassis to ground and less than 50 micro amps from the US head to ground are considered good. Note: All units passed this test unless otherwise listed. Cable Resistance Test Procedure A digital OHM meter was used to measure power cord lead resistance to the milliohm level. All readings of less than 150 milliohms are considered good. Note: All units passed this test unless otherwise listed. Fan Test Procedure All units were tested that have cooling fans for proper fan operation. Note: All units passed this test unless otherwise listed. Timer Test Procedure Timer is tested to be within 10% of the display accuracy. Note: All units passed this test unless otherwise listed. 1.
