The VMS II can facilitate stimulation of any or all basic excitatory (subthreshold, sensory, motor, and pain perception) response. Two independent channels to allow simultaneous or alternate treatment of different muscle groups or body parts; frequency adjustable from 1 to 200 pulses per second Five treatment modes (continuous, reciprocate, interrupted, probe, and manual) a Ramp-up control to allow adjustment of the onset of the stimulation from 0 to 5 seconds to provide smooth muscle contractions; and the stim-on (1 to 60 seconds) and stim-off (1 to 120 seconds) which allow for a wide range of protocol applications.
