This is the H782 Offset CherryMAX Pulling Head, manufactured in the U.S.A., in used excellent near-new condition. The Cherry® brand H782 is a new universal, offset pulling head capable of installing a broad variety of pull-type fasteners. This new model replaces the older Cherry H781-456, FSI 1076, Huck 99-1333, and GBP 456MAX-763. Unlike these older offset pulling heads, the H782 features replaceable jaws and a variety of nosepiece options. The strength, lightweight, and compact dimensions of the H782 make it ideal for a diverse range of applications including restricted spaces. Its compact and lightweight envelope allows access in restricted installation areas. It reduces incidents of strain injury and over-extension by allowing the tool system to be positioned close to the work. This two-jaw offset pulling head capable of installing CherryMAX® rivets, CherryLOCK™ “A” code rivets, MaxiBolt™ “S” Type blind bolts, MBC® rivets, SPR® rivets, NAS 1398 A & AB code products, MS90353/4, MS21140/1 “U” 05, NAS 1719,1720, & 1721 and pull-through type nut plate rivets by simply changing the threaded nosepieces. (See photo for the complete nosepiece list.) You can take advantage of the wide range of available nosepieces and avoid having to purchase additional pulling heads. The H782 features simple and cost-effective maintenance. The wear components are affordable and very easy to replace. The H782 mounts directly on CherryMAX® power riveters including the lightweight G747, the long stroke G746A and the powerful G704B. This pulling head also fits directly on a very wide variety of FSI, Huck, and other Cherry Textron air/pneudraulic, electric and hydraulic hand riveting tools including: Olympic Model RV15, GBP Model GBP704, Cherry Textron Models G701A, G749A, G750A, G845A, FSI D100, D700, PT-100, PT-3000, PT-4000 and other hand operated and pneudraulic power riveters. There are readily available adapters to allow fitting to even more riveters. This H782 comes with a 782-456 nosepiece for installing CherryMAX 4, 5, and 6 size rivets (1/8”, 5/32”, and 3/16” diameters, Nominal or Oversized). Also includes instruction sheet as shown. It has some minor signs of wear and a few cosmetic scratches, scuffs and stains. The jaws are in great shape and it looks like this pulling head has hardly been used. The original rubber stem/mandrel deflector was missing so I have substituted a rubber cap that has been trimmed to allow the stems/mandrels to pass through. This substitute stem deflector has been tested and works fine. I have cleaned, lubricated, and tested this pulling head with my own riveting tools on several CherryMAX rivets and it works great.
