ITEM DESCRIPTION: This is a Cherry G746A Lightweight Cherry Max Power Tool Riveter in good used condition. Manufactured in the USA by Cherry Textron Aerospace Santa Ana California The G746A pneumatic-hydraulic lockbolt installation tool is a heavy duty production tool designed for high speed, reliable installation of the most popular sizes of aircraft lockbolts. This extremely powerful tool has been designed with many ergonomic features including a light weight – 4.95 pounds (2.25 kg.) – less recoil, low noise, and a comfortable fit in the operator’s hand. It can be operated in any position with one hand. This tool can also be used to install blind bolts and blind rivets. This tool will work with a very large variety of rivets, blind bolts, lockbolts, and other fastener types. This G746A comes equipped with a new 1/4" NPT air connector. Great Deal with a low reserve for what this tool would actually cost. Sorry for the reserve, I at least want to get some of my investment back. This tool with the expensive head is easily over $1500 New. This G746A tool is in used condition and looks good. There are some cosmetic scuffs, nicks, and scratches on it. I have inspected, cleaned, and lubricated the tool. I have freshly bleed the tool and topped up the DEXRON III hydraulic fluid. I tested the tool on a few lockbolts and cherry rivets and it works great. I would judge this tool to be in really good used working condition. The tool is ready to go to work for you.
