For sale is: - 1 whizbang style featherplate for a whizbang chicken plucker. - 1 welded shaft assembly for a whizbang chicken plucker. These parts worked so well for my chicken plucker that I decided to make a couple extra and make them available to others because I know how hard they can be to make by hand. I had the 10 GA plate CNC plasma cut to 18.5" in diameter (perfect fit in a standard farm tub) with punched 3/4" holes and then powder coated it. The punched holes provide a clean edge and a natural lead-in for pulling the fingers through. I TIG welded the 1" solid shaft and added a shaft collar to ensure that the end plate was exactly perpendicular. Shaft is 24" long and can easily be trimmed to fit your assembly (with grinder, hacksaw, sawzall, chop saw, etc). Bolts fit snugly with washers, nuts and lock washers. All hardware included. I also recommend one or two shaft collars to help support the shaft in your plucker. Building and using my plucker was fun. I can't wait to help you build yours!
