Great kit for a DIY poultry plucker like the whizbang! For sale is an aluminum plate for a DIY poultry plucker, Steel flanged shaft, 2 Bearings (pillow blocks), drive and driven pulleys, and 168 plucking fingers. The fingers do not come installed, you will have to do that yourself. Please note. To aid in the assembly they chamfered the back side of the plate. This allows you to pull the fingers through the plate much easier. The plate is made out of .190" 5052-H32 Aluminum and has 66 holes for Poultry plucking fingers. Each of the 66 holes will be chamfered to simplify the assembly of your plucking fingers. There is also one center hole. The shaft is included in this auction. The shaft is made of Steel and measures 15.5" long and has an Outside Diameter of 1". The shaft mounts to the plucker plate with 3 3/8-16 x 1"zinc plated hex head bolts and corresponding nylon insert lock nuts(Supplied). The plucker plate will be pre-drilled to accept the shaft. 3 bolts will pass through the plucker plate and the flange on the shaft (3.5" diameter on the flange). The face of the flange has been machined after welding to fit flush against the plucker plate. 1 - 20.5" Diameter .190" Thick 5052-H32 Aluminum Feather Plate PreDrilled and chamfered on the back side 168 - Rubber Plucking Fingers 1 - 15.5" Steel Shaft with 3.5" Steel Hub (welded construction) to mount to the feather plate (This is predrilled for 3 3/8-16 Bolts) 3 - 3/8-16 x 1" Zinc plated steel hex head bolts and 3 nylon insert lock nuts 2 - 2 bolt Flanged 1" Bearings (pillow Block). Both have 1 Grease zerk and 2 set screws. 1 - 2.5" Drive pulley (1"Bore) 1 - 15" Driven pulley (1" Bore)
